About the Course!
Due to the growing popularity of Forensics and Criminology Andover College are introducing new for 2021 the level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Forensic and Criminal Investigation (equivalent to two A levels) to be studied alongside one other A level/BTEC Certificate subject.
The course provides the scientific knowledge and practical scientific skills that underpins forensic studies as well as the application of Psychology and the understanding of the criminal justice system by studying criminal investigations from the crime scene through to the trial process.
Forensic and Criminal Investigation is ideally suited to students who are interested in pursuing a career in the criminal justice system, for example forensic science, the police force, forensic psychology and probation.
Crime Scene Chemistry
Explore how fingerprints and luminol can help to support and identify criminal activity leading to conviction!

Student wellbeing and support
At Andover College we understand that starting college in these uncertain times can be daunting and we aim to make this process as simple as possible.
We have a dedicated team that provide our students with any additional support they need including;

We also have at the college Romeo our therapy dog! Romeo is part of the continued effort from Andover College to consistently improve on and add to wellbeing provision for students. Romeo is based on campus with his owner throughout term.
Research has shown that students are significantly less stressed and anxious, and even have increased happiness and energy, immediately following spending time in a drop-in session with a dog present.
