This section outlines some of the key areas in which technology is having an impact in Further Education.
The use of mobile technology in the UK is on the rise with tablet ownership in 1 in 4 households and smartphone ownership up to 53% of the population (Ipsos Mori Tech tracker, 2013). With this in mind, it is important for Further Education Colleges to understand and react to the needs and expectations this shift in use of technology brings.
